Missing cyyc rwys 8 and 26 in ARPT_RWY.dat file in AIRAC 2507

Reviewed previous AIRAC and they appeared there

PMDG says it’s a Navigraph issue

Rwy’s do not show up in “Charts” either

Problem started when Airac 2507 was installed

It’s not missing, it was converted to a taxiway in late 2024.

Hence why it also doesn’t show on the charts.

Here’s the official aerodrome chart from the Canadian AIP:

Been trying to solve this for 2 months

I can’t fly into CYYC because Cycle 2507 gives me the Message CYYC ERR: 08 RWY N/A

Any ideas?

That’s in the PMDG right? Have you tried quitting the sim, deleting the ARPT_RWY.dat file and then re-launching the simulator? The PMDG should re-create the file automatically (but hopefully without this particular issue).

Then I am out of ideas, but perhaps someone else will have other suggestions.

Unfortunately P3D is not very common lately, I for example cannot test this myself as I don’t have the simulator.

You could go back to them with the information about the runway closure and ask if they have a workaround to suggest?

As far as the navdata is concerned, runway 08/26 was seemingly present in all Navigraph cycles up to AIRAC 2410 inclusive, and appears to have gone as of cycle 2411.

Can you please forward us the forum post and/or your ticket ID so we can reference it?

We don’t offer/have these runways in our data, so it would be interesting to know why PMDG means that this is a data issue

The reason you do not runway 8 & 26 is that in real life they were converted to taxiways. Problem I think is PMDG or FSimStudio
Working on it. I’m not a computer geek. Been flying FSX since 1995. Will get back to you

I don’t understand your feedback. We know that this runway doesn’t exist any longer. You wrote that PMDG told you that this is a Navigraph issue. Possibly, it’s really our issue, so I would like to know why and how we can fix it. Therefore, the question is about the link and/or the ticket ID to contact PMDG with this reference.

My ticket # @ PMDG is 348-30218430-0018 It’s Closed
Trying to get thru to FSimStudio. Message: Account suspended contact account administrator? Whose he?
Real life closer was Nov 2024. I think I flew into CYYC using Cycle 2506.
As soon as I type CYYC in the PMDG FMC the message appears

Thanks. We will contact PMDG to determine why they mean it’s our issue. This file ARPT_RWY is a PMDG file and not from us.

As soon as we have an answer, I will update this posting.
