METARS not showing at all for any airports within the U.A.E FIR

Hello,

I am reaching out as a VATSIM controller, wanting to understand why the METARS are not fixed despite it being fixed IRL after recent real world conflicts, is there a fix for this?

The U.A.E have decided to not use the NOAA/WMO data feeds but instead use their own private portal system. https://www.avmet.ae/ A lot of other services that use that pipeline are affected also but hopefully this will change in the future.

Unfortunately this is a larger issue and something out of our control, I’m sorry to say.

Ah yes, that is what I wanted to know, and yes we are using the link you sent but it just creates a more stressful environment as we cannot relay it on ATIS on VATSIM. Anyway, thank you for the help!

I can totally appreciate that, the extra platform to hop onto, quite annoying and immersion breaking.
