# Looking for direction

Hi Scott,

Welcome.

First check [FAQ - Nav Data Out Of Date](https://forum.navigraph.com/t/faq-nav-data-out-of-date/54), particularly para 3.

If no joy,

In FMS Data Manager _Settings_, Make sure your have the latest Version

If not, please uninstall, download [FMS Data Manager](https://navigraph.com/downloads) and run.

In FMS Data Manager _Settings_, Check you have the correct X-Plane 12 path.  
In _Addon Mappings_ , select and _Remove_ X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 12 addons. Press _Scan_. If X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 12 addons are not detected, use _+Add_ to add them manually.

In _Addon List_ select and _Update_ X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 12 addons.
