Hello,

as previously discussed here [LOWI LOC DME East APP (LOC26) missing in 2609 - #7 by NAVData](https://forum.navigraph.com/t/lowi-loc-dme-east-app-loc26-missing-in-2609/24261/7) , the promised return of LOC DME East APP to the Navigraph NavData has not yet happened 😕 as the original post is locked, I felt it necessary to open another one to ask about progress. It has been two AIRACs already since its removal and it’s quite sad to see it, being such a famous approach, also for the flight sim community, go ☹ and it seems like the LOC R 26 is now called LOC26 in your data?

Hi Jakob,
I have rechecked the database, and the LOC DME E 26 is still not included. We must ask Jeppesen if there is any reason for that. I´m sorry.

What I don´t understand in your posting is the LOC R 26 → LOC 26 assumption. We don´t have a LOC 26; we have a LOC 26-R (or LOC R 26) in our data. My assumption for the future is that LOC 26 is the LOC DME E 26 approach, but again, that’s only an assumption on my part.

We will try to find an answer as to why the LOC 26 / LOC DME East 26 is still missing …

Cheers,
Richard

Hi Richard,

thanks for the info. I checked the ini A350 and in there I only have the LOC26 (with the encoding of the LOC R) but no LOC R, see the attached image. I have not tried it with another plane yet as I am still in cruise

Hi Jakob,
Thank you - I can confirm this observation, but it is not a data issue, as we offer L26-R in the Inibuild database. My assumption is that Inibuild cut/remove something here.

I have tested the Synaptic A220, which also uses the same database as Inibuild, and here you see the correct approach identifier:

I’m not sure whether this is an Inibuild bug or intentional. I´m sorry.

Cheers,
Richard
