Every time I load the charts app I have to do the same thing. Unload the previous saved chart, click Import, Click from Simbrief then click again to load the latest flight. I’m sure I’m not the only person who does this. Is there a quicker way I’m missing, or alternatively any chance of a “Load latest simbrief flight plan” button?

If you exit Charts with a flight open, Charts will open with the same flight open.
This is independent of how you created the flight, whether by input from SimBrief or creation in Charts.
If you want to open Charts with your latest SimBrief plan, you can use the Import into Charts Option in SimBrief:
