Limg star error

Hello, all STARs “W” are available only for runway 09 instead of runway 27.

In real all STARs are only for runway 27 and departure only for runway 09.

Hi,
Please can you forward us an official reference to this? Also, in the AIP Italy, the STAR “W” has no explicit runway transition.

Thank you very much
Richard

Last point for all STARs is BERAB, and then you can join 3 instruments approach: LOC 27 via BERAB, RNP Z 27 via BERAB and RNP Y via BERAB. Runway 09 is available only via circling to land.

A reference, please. Without it, we can’t report it. Again, in the AIP Italy, there is no information about a runway transition. The data reference is always the AIP for the country, and here I don’t see any runway limitations.

Please forward an official reference to us.

Cheers
Richard

yes no restriction about the runway… so… why for navigraph is forbidden to put runway 27 after selected STAR? That’s the problem.

Again, we don´t forbid anything. The STARs “W” are only available for 09 and not for 27

To confirm it, from the AIP Italy:

Cheers,
Richard

So, for whatever reason, the W arrivals are restricted to runway 09, which is reflected in the data.

I do agree this is counter-intuitive at best, since the W arrivals end at BERAB and BERAB is indeed a transition for the runway 27 approaches (as shown in the data and on the Jeppesen charts).

Blame the Italian procedure designers, I guess.

Tim
