Reading the charts and navdata it is not able to be used for RWY 03R, however when I see on the Charts website viewer it say I can use it.
How I got this issue is I think i use simbrief route and paste into the Charts text route, however I included KOR1H SID (Which is only for RWY 03L). Somehow it made the system think it can be used, but it should not be able to. Also usually if its not able to be use it will remove the SID and make u choose new sid, but here it did not.
You’re correct, the KOR1H is a 03L departure only and the navigation data reflects that accurately.
When you use the free-text route input, charts is essentially just displaying the route you entered. Its designed to plot. SimBrief’s assignment of 03L and KOR1H was correct but manually editing the runway to 03R after the fact is where the confusion arises.
Using the structured workflow with charts avoids such confusion and is also a safer way to pick the correct runway and correct departure.
But it should say its not available and force me to choose another sid
Navigraph Charts forces you to choose a different departure route when using the normal workflow.
However, when just copying the route from Simbrief and then changing the departure runway in plain text, Navigraph Charts only displays the entered route.
