Lesson 7: Take-Off & Landing

@AliolaBeky Thanks for reporting, we’re looking into this.

Same behaviour here. needs full throttle to keep 70 knots on the correct glidepath. Seem not to be correct I guess …

This is still an issue. Need almost full power to maintain 70 kts.

Hi there!

Thanks a lot for raising this. This I very difficult issue to pin down since it is so difficult to reproduce. I’ll pass this report along with the team so we can discuss.

Can you confirm that

  • Mixture and throttle positions are correct and reflected between the simulator levers and the throttle quadrant levers

Mixture is full rich and throttle is accurate as is confirmed by the RPMs. This is MSFS 2024. Honestly it just seems like a problem in the flight model on the 172 with flaps 30.

Feedback like this helps out a great deal, though!

We’ll continue to look into the issue. We are able to reproduce it, however there are more reproduction failures than successes so we need to make absolutely sure whether this is a lesson issue or something core simulator related

II activated the wind indicator in the Cessna 172 and noticed that there was a tailwind during this landing exercise.

Do you have live weather turned on?
