Hello, I am also having issues with the completion of this lesson.
I tried it multiple times, but still nothing
Hi Arasan! What is your issue? Is it marked as in progress?
Correct.
If I go into the lesson briefing, though, I can see that “View last flight” button is enabled and I can see that it was succesfully recorded
We are working on a fix for this issue currently. Please let me know if you would like me to manually remove the stuck flight.
Yes please,
Massimiliano
This should now be fixed!
I configured everything as told in the lessons, 2D of course. Then I switched to my VR mode and had a totally different view feeling in VR. I was sitting way to close and high for a good standard view. Fixed that with traversal motion only to find out that I can’t save that view as my reset-view in VR. Everytime I hit reset in 2D, I have my standard view, in 3D again too close and high. I read that standard view in VR is not saveable (for a reset) and is based on the 2D standard view, that I don’t want to lose/change due to my academy lessons. Is there a good way out of that conflict?
Just to be sure here:
- The Standard View is defined by the settings under General/Camera? Is this the view to be seen when switching for the first time into the cockpit? Because with this view I see no instruments at all, because of its higher und more zoomed in position!
But hitting Reset Cockpit Camera changes to the described Standard view from the video. - And only View 1 comes back exactly to this Reset Cockpit Camera view when used the second time. The other views come back to slightly different views. So I have to hit Reset again to be at the correct starting position.
Ok, removed the camera.cfg file under the airplane in the community folder and could build everything up from scratch, working smoothly. Not let’s see what it looks like in VR
Glad it worked out for you! Let us know if there are further issues.
I’m sorry for the late answer here. Yes, MSFS2024 has slightly changed the views achieved by the in game settings. Now, more of the lower part of the screen is visible. That is no problem, and as I can see in your screenshot, you have a perfect view of the cowling and nose attitude. So no problem continuing the traiing here. Good luck!
Hi, I started this lesson last night and went into the plane and checked all of my keybinds and cameras, even though I use TrackIR, but after leaving the course it does not update the lesson plan online.
Make sure you have Navigraph Hub and Simlink updated to the latest versions, as per the Getting Started guide.
Yup, that was confirmed. ![]()
Simlink has a data log output, please attempt a lesson and check to see if Simlink is behaving normally. You will see a connection to the simulator along with a log file generated.
Send us the last few lines of output and we can have a look.
Thanks,
I am having issues calibrating my cockpit view. I’m trying to get to match the recommendations in the navigraph academy. However, it seems none of the cockpit views (height, horizontal, zoom, etc) have any effect. I can min/max something like height, but it’s still no different than before. Other options in settings seem to work, including camera options like switching between cockpit view and chase plane. But not cockpit adjustments. I do use a tobi eyetracker, and disabled it to calibrate the view. Dunno if that has anything to do with it.
