Issue simbrief

Please, can you stay on your main issue here? Open a new post whenever you have an additional question.

Thank you
Richard

i tried it on fenix a320 and inibuild a 340 sitll missing waypoint on approach, i removed and reinstalled the fenix as well as the navigraph hub and reinstalled issue is not resolved see photo of legs, KBOS to KLGA ILS 04

So that we are on the same page, here are my steps from the Fenix A320 when I enter the ILS 04 approach via VARAZ into KLGA:

VARAZ is the IAF, and between VARAZ and RAHEL is BENNG - exactly what you see on the charts.

Please can you post exactly these steps too, but do not use your hardware MCDU. Use the MCDU directly in the Fenix A320.

Thank you very much,
Richard

interesting that you see VARAS and Benng on STAR and I don’t on mine for ILS 04 i will do the same and repost on here

No, where do you see that as STAR? I haven´t selected any STAR - you see that from the VIAS. VARAZ and BENNG are not STARs; they are approach transitions.

Cheers,
Richard

sorry bad wording, approach, i don’t see those on mcdu after selecting ILS 04,

It is also not an approach. The approach is ILS04 - BENNG, GGREG and VARAZ are approach-TRANSITIONS …

When you press on VIAS (3rd screenshot of my screenshots from the top) you don´t see the transitions BENNG, GGREG amd VARAZ? What do you see when you press on VIAS (after selecting ILS04)?

Cheers,
Richard

i followed yours no VARAZ coming up on ILS 4 at all, see is only approach coming up in photos

Hi,
That do not answer my question. We are not speaking from a STAR we are speaking from an approach-transition, so it is expected that you don´t see it on these pages.

So, my question again:
What do you see, when you press on the 2L (at VIAS)

Cheers,
Richard

I see APple 3, MIP4, NOBBI1, Proud 2, VADDR1 and it stops there,

Please confirm, you see this when you press on 2L on the VIAS button?

What you see are the STARs but not the VIAS. Please post a screenshot AFTER you have pressed of the VIAS (2L-button). Please compare my screenshots. I have signed the keys with a red-rectangle.

See the red arrows:

I have also marked the button on your screenshot before. So, please follow these steps exactly.

Cheers,
Richard

by not checing anything i see what you see and approach looks good, but i would have thought i would page down to find VARAS or Benn but i guess those are stars and not approach. very weird when i fly back to boston from klgs i chose the apporach ad star and it is perfect witht the flight plan

Ok great, so it is solved now and all is correct.

When you mean this is weird (even this reflects the real world), please contact Fenix. We only offer the data but not the workflow behind.

Cheers
Richard

i have a dumb question, when i fly using simbrief and look at the navigraph chart route, how come high IFR flight plan does not follow the Jet Airways like J72, J15, i would have assumed all comm’l airline fly the jet airways on high IFR.

In a manner of speaking, “jet routes” (US “J” airways) are a thing of the past; they link enroute high-altitude VORs together. Nowadays, 99%+ of IRL traffic is RNAV-capable in some way or other.

Airways are still used, but not always and not everywhere.

Regards,

Tim

thank you very much for the info.

how to add step climb in simbrief manually before generating flight at each way point?
