1- Is it necessary to have active internet to see the navigation data on the xplane?
2- the navdata updates the approaches in the instructor console?
No, the navdata files will install locall on your computer. No internwt connection necessary at least for the navdata.
I’m don’t have enough XPlane knowledge there please excuse when I’m wrong but I assume the instructor console uses exactly the same data as all other in-game planes and the core system of X-Plane. It wouldn’t make sense to have other data for this feature in X-Plane.
