Cannot find how to choose a category and have tried to look for pervious solutions.
Anyhow this relates to historic METAR using SimBrief, Active Sky, SimBrief Downloader and X Plane 12.4. I set up historic weather in SimBrief for my flight using SimBrief Downloader and Active Sky and enable the uploaded historic weather and usually no more than 24 hours earlier than current to meet a scheduled flight time of day. Generate this properly set up flight plan and import it into Navigraph and there I get the flight plan correctly shown and then set up the SIDS and STARS all fine. Oh and BTW I use Say Intentions with that used as Priority in the Navigraph ATIS settings.
The flight plan shows the historic flight time correctly but if I call for the weather or ATIS at the departure runway as normal it shows the weather for the current real world date and time not the historic set up flight time as it should? This makes it very difficult as clearly say an historic earlier nigh time flight will usually have notably much different METAR to the current say daytime METAR.
So please can you tell me what I am doing wrong and if it is a bug then will this be fixed soon please.
Yes exactly of course I know that. It is why I am raising this important point. It should give the weather for the time of the flight as shown in the flight plan it imports from SimBrief which has the historic matar it gets from Active Sky. This is either a bug that needs fixing or I am missing something here.
Hello, the historical weather will import into your weather engine in the sim. They are two separate things, charts will pull real-world weather. If you would like to add a feature like that please start a thread here: Wishlist - Navigraph

Thanks but that does not answer the very important point I have raised. So please just take note of my post here and the important issue clearly stated, as I have neither time nor inclination to have to post this again on a wish list as it should be urgently pout in motion anyway to correct this glaring omission in the otherwise excellent Navigraph which I love. So please will you urgently raise this important issue with your development team and management.

As Jason wrote, the current version uses the effective ATIS and doesn’t import it from Simbrief. This is not a bug or an error; it is currently by design.
So, please open a wishlist item when you want to change this logic, so we can monitor it like all other wishlist items.
