Hi,
I am a vatsim controller in EDDM and recently noticed that since the relase of the improved vatsim radar with navigraph overlay some people are entering the wrong gates when assigned to a gate with suffix e.g. 212A or 212B.
In general all gates with suffix A on apron 2 are northern of the B gates. However the navigraph map is somehow incomplete as sometimes only the A gate is displayed (but on the wrong line). I made a screenshot to make it more clear:
This only applies to the gates located at taxi way W2
(As EDDM is in the top 5 airports on vatsim it sometimes gets very crowded and in peak traffic this sometimes leads to wingtip-collisions with parked aircraft.)
While checking for possible reasons I found that the jeppesen chart is currently not differentiating between A and B gates on apron 2, but at least it is not placing the A gate south of gate B (same with the german AIP-VFR charts):
If you check the GPS reference coordinates from the AIP-IFR or look at the satellite image from google, you can see that the A stands are northern of the B stands:
I would be glad if you could have a look into it and hope that there is a way to improve the chart material for EDDM
