flight plan VNLK DCT VNPL at level 260.
RW for departure 06, after editing 240.
after editing and generating appears
fatal error:the selected cruising level is too high
any changes with alttitude havent solved the problem.

VNLK (elevation 9,337 feet) is 13 nautical miles from VNPL (elevation 8,097 feet) ; no matter the aircraft, it’s impossible to climb 14 and a half thousand feet (to FL240) then descend 16 thousand feet (to 8,000) in a mere 13 miles, even more so starting at those high altitudes.
Not sure why I don’t get a fatal error, but the highest I can climb on such a short distance is to 14,000 feet (with a default of 11,000 feet if I let Simbrief pick the altitude automatically, in a Twotter with 15 passengers).
Obviously at 11 thousand feet, I cannot clear enroute terrain (MORA appears to be 19,400 feet).
The bottom line is: you cannot plan VNLK DCT VNPL, you have to plan with waypoints around the terrain and to give yourself time to climb to a safe altitude.
Using SkyVector, I built a possible route:
273941N0864222E 273713N0864149E 273533N0864040E 273359N0864033E 273323N0864211E 273229N0864244E 273110N0864211E 272948N0864123E 272827N0864323E 272713N0864338E 272508N0864106E 272535N0863752E 272551N0863639E 272647N0863401E 272921N0863422E
Simbrief will still give an error about the MORA around 19,100 feet but the route looks OK to me on the map, and as far as I can tell, should be flyable at 14 thousand feet (in visual meteorological conditions, of course) or possibly even a little lower.
Regards,
Tim
What about VFR at my flight plan from vnlk to vnlp? I can climb visually to 12000 feet and continue flight safety…in this case flight plan should be generated automatically with additional safe waypoint…I think so.. It will so suitable for me.. My aircraft VISION JET SF50

Now, the VFR flight plan has been generated with seambreaf, with rw24 for departure, but BATC request SID or waypoint 8nm from vnlk. How should I fly VFR in this case?
