There are 3 enhancements I would like to suggest for the ruler:
1.st ask: Add a function that can stop the ruler from continuously drawing additional waypoints. It should be possible to have the ruler draw between 2 points and leaving the measured line/data in place i.e. some way to stop the rubber band effect from drawing additional lines. And then be able to clear that line from the map once finished.
2nd ask: Incorporate/display a small compass circle when defining the first waypoint.
3rd ask: A small drop down menu that can be used to enter a PDB. e.g. Click on the map to define an initial defined waypoint. Then display a small menu which allows user to define the PDB waypoint from that waypoint and then have the ruler draw a line between the 2 waypoints.
