If I use navigraph for the PMDG 777 or Ifly 737 or whatever plane I can use it everywhere.
If I use the MD11 there are lots of places where it says, “not in the database” .
If I fly from EHAM to EDDH as an example, no problem, EHAM/OMDB no problem but WSSS and WADD are not in the database. Is this normal? I thought the database is for each plane the same.
Hi,
I guess you are speaking from MSFS2024?! All datasets will be created from one source; therefore, all add-ons can expect the same quality and completeness of data.
Since SU2 ASOBO/MS has changed the logic slightly, where the navdata should be installed (in the work folder, instead of any custom folder), and it looks MD11 has not yet made these changes. That means the checksum of the files will not be recalculated correctly and will be cut. That is the reason why WSSS or WADD can´t be selected because the sim cuts the airport file at position x.
The data for PMDG or iFly is located in the correct folder, and the sim can calculate the checksum correctly; therefore, the data is complete here.
This is nothing we can handle; it is an issue with the MD11, and they must change the navdata location to the work folder.
Please report this to the MD11 devs - WSSS and WADD are included, but cannot be selected due to the incorrectly calculated file size/checksum in the sim.
