If you want to try out arrivals or approaches and delete them afterwards, the selection simply remains in the maps and is not removed.

It looks like the procedures are indeed removed, but the point where the route transitions from enroute to the procedure remains when the procedure is removed. This is quite interesting, and we’ll have to investigate whether it is intentional!

Alright - so it is intentional at the moment. Basically, every arrival procedure has an enroute transition. When you add an arrival to you route, we make sure that the waypoint closest preceding this procedure is the correct one (the enroute transition).
However, when you remove the procedure we can’t be sure if the waypoint is there because we added it as an enroute transition or if you added it there manually! Since we allow for manual modification of the route at any time, it is currently not possible to know this for sure.
This means that this behavior is not easily changed. A possible future workaround would include some significant changes to how the app works, and thus it’ll likely be a while before we get there. At least this is now tracked internally - we’ll see to it when we get resources to do so!
