Custom Wavepoint

I have created a flight plan to flu from KLAX (Los Angeles) to K

SFO (San Francisco).

I am trying to insert the user wave point as shown above between SERFR and NRRLI.

How do I do that?

Thanks.

Hi…,

Welcome.

From SimBrief User Guide:

Route Formats

59N140W is a custom lat/long waypoint which translates to 59° North by 140° West. More precise coordinates can also be entered, for example: 59°17’30"N 140°32’12"W can be entered as 591730N1403212W.

So for your example your custom waypoint would be 372515N1215004W hence

SUMMR2 STOKD SERFR 372515N1215004W

Good Morning, Ian,

Your quick response is very greatly appreciated.

I do have two more questions.

Can I have a custom elevation also? If Simbrief allows that, how do I do that?

Can I name the Wave Point, 372515N1215004W, as ‘Test’? How do I do that, please?

Thanks.

Hi…,

You are welcome.

In Simbrief, I don’t believe you can have an elevation with the waypoint, nor assign a name to the waypoint. You can assign a name to a User Waypoint in Navigraph Charts.

Ian

Much appreciated and Thanks, Ian.
