Hi all, As a Chaseplane owner, I am unable to set up my camera positions exactly like those shown in the tutorial. It would be really helpful if you could provide chaseplane presets that I can load into the sim. Mike ---

The Academy course camera views are adjusted and created using the MSFS default camera system. Chaseplane was never in the scope so it is not supported. With that said, I will raise this with the Academy team, its a good idea! ---

Thanks, it would be a great help to those of us with Chaseplane, especially as CP disables the MSFS camera system IIRC ---

I’m also waiting for this. I want to do the virtual PPL but I use Chase Plane in 2024. Having to uninstall it currently to use Navigraph Academy and then reinstall afterwards is too much of a pain ---

Hi, thanks for supporting my request. Please go to the Chaseplane forum and comment there too. They have said that they think it’s a good idea, so if more of us ask them for it, the more likely they are to create the presets Mike ---

We _have_ taken the idea into consideration as an option in the future, however we don’t want to create additional dependencies as Academy is a very add-on agnostic platform. Of course we will look at ways to allow for such subtle mods in the future. With that said, before you start the course(s), you could sit in the Cessna with Chaseplane and make some custom views that would work. ---

Hi Gordon, Many thanks for your reply. The thing about ChasePlane profiles is that you don’t have to have the Navigraph Academy dependent on it at all. All you need to do is provide the profile download, and those people who have ChasePlane can apply it to their Cessna. If someone was to create the correct ChasePlane profile, would you guys be prepared to make it available on the Navigraph website once you’ve validated it? Kind regards Mike ---

Hiya Mike, Totally understood. In my earlier post I mentioned I would raise it with the Academy team, which I did but it somehow needs to fit into a scope (as _some_ work will need to be conducted in order to ensure the course’s integrity). I can assure you, its still on the agenda. ---
