In the C700 Longitude, loading a FPL from Simbrief has stopped working (MSFS 2024). I already reinstalled the G5000 plug-in, same results. This does not appear to be an authentication issue because accessing Navigraph’s Charts application from the MFD works fine. Below are the steps I go through prior to seeing the error. Please let me know how I can fix this problem.
Request the FPL from the MFD/Simbrief.
The option to IMPORT the FPL appears and I click on it. The IMPORT starts but does not complete.
Initially, the ORGN and DEST airports are visible in the FPL but no waypoints are present.
When I attempt to add a waypoint manually, “Searching…” does not find the waypoint and subsequently I get error message:
An Unexpected error occurred when importing a flight from Simbrief. Error: FacilityLoader: facility could not be retrieved for ICAO WK6 BIGGY
At this point, the ORGN and DEST airports disappear and the FPL is blank as if the IMPORT was never executed.
Since your response suggested a problem with the route, I did a couple of tests, here are the results:
I executed the Simbrief Analyze Route function of the original route and this flagged airway Q75 as faulty…something about not being able to connect to or from this airway. I did not save the red Simbrief message.
I edited the route and removed airway Q75 from the FPL and replaced it with a “DCT SLOJO” and regenerated the FPL. The FPL loaded successfully in the A/C.
I then went back to Simbrief, re-edited the route to its original state, i.e., added/typed airway Q75 back, and then I re-generated the FPL. This time the FPL loaded successfully in the A/C with the original but EDITED route. My objective in this step was to re-confirm that there is a problem with airway Q75 but that does not seem to be the case. It looks as if when Simbrief generated the original FPL, it added extraneous, invisible characters that the plugin could not handle. This is the only way I can explain the results of the above tests. Please let me know if you determine otherwise.
