Good day,

I’d appreciate providing more integration in xplane for the maps and simbrief, the moving maps in particular, especially for VR users. I’ve enjoyed your services in MSFS, but it’s cumbersom to use in xplane. AviTab isnt a “native” way of integration.

BBest regards,

Mo

I find NaviGraph working OK with X-Plane, but get a bit frustrated that ALL references are to MSFS or now X-Box. There are a lot of X-Plane uuusers out here who do not use MSFS.

Hi I do agree that a lot of post are for Microsoft simulator. I use only x-plane 11 and 12 and would like to see more suport for this simulator. In addition I would like to see the Navigraph Academy including x-plane simulator instead the Microsoft one

I totally agree. I am flying way more often in X-Plane than in MSFS. And especially the features I can use for VFR and for Helicopters meanwhile are completely NOT available in X-Plane.

AviTab does only offer the standard VFR-Map, but neither FAA nor EU sectionals and even not the Helicopter Sectionals.

I would highly highly highly appreciate to have at least a moving Navigraph Map with all available maps in X-Plane 12

This would make such a difference to XP users, especially us VR disciples. Avitab is ok, but is no longer in active development by the original author so the whole UI is unlikely to change. If we could get the Navigraph Charts app available as a native XPlane window that interacts with hand controllers then all our prayers will be answered!

Seems like the “wish” for better X-Plane got lost. X-Plane 12.x is a lot more advanced than a lot of people think and deserves more “love” from Navigraph.

I’m not even sure what we aren’t getting in X-Plane 12 now. It seems that every new feature from Navigraph is only for MSFS. Maybe XP users should get a discount? Lets at least get the Academy and FSLTL please.

FWIW, the FSLTL traffic injector is a specific (currently MSFS-only) addon made by a different developer/company (FSLTL, not Navigraph).

Navigraph provides the data used by the injector to display real-world traffic in MSFS. But Navigraph has no control whatsoever over whether FSLTL decide to port their software to X-Plane or not.

Also, for reasons outlined there:

While you are of course welcome to request that they port their software to X-Plane (with them directly, as, other than getting some data from them, FSLTL are not in any way affiliated with Navigraph), I would not expect them to do so, and certainly not quickly. The software development kit and the file format used for the 3D visual models required for traffic injection are completely different for MSFS …

I think an X-Plane version of their traffic injector is unlikely anytime soon. But that’s just my personal opinion.

Tim
