It seems every time I zoom in or out, the aircraft is not centered. I have to re center it manually using the Aircraft icon on the left. Can this be changed so that the aircraft remains centered after zooming IN or OUT. If I recall correctly, I may be wrong but that seems to be the way it used to work. ---

In the Moving Maps function of the Charts app, do you have “follow Ownship” enabled? ---

Thanks for reply. Yes, I have AUTO START & AUTO FOLLOW enabled. ANCHOR POINT is set to “Tip”. ---

This behavior is intended, zooming out will uncenter the ownship following. There is a wishlist post that requests this functionality. I have the same problem. Even with “Follow ownship” the aircraft is not centered with every zoom in/out on an iPad. I think it is a little bit better if I untick “Auto Follow” in the Charts settings. Maybe there could be a setting that I can move the card free for e.g. 5 seconds to look for something and then it snap back to centered mode. ---

I would recommend creating a thread on the Wishlist.
