AIRAC not updating to ifly Max

Hello this is the second month in a row I’ve had this issue. I’ve had Airac 2606 downloading for over 12+ hours and it never downloaded I followed Iflys tips and to add exceptions and nothing works. Is there a way I can just manually install it? Last month I fixed it by download then waiting about and hour if it didn’t do anything restart my computer and or the hub for 1 week straight and it finally worked. What do I need to do because its honestly frustrating.

Hope to hear back soon,

Christopher

Hi Christopher,
Thank you for your report. It seems you have some system issues. The iFly dataset contains several thousand files, so it takes a while, but normally not hours. There is no manual installation procedure available, so you need the Hub to update the MSFS addons.

First, could you please upload your log file? You find it here %APPDATA%\navigraph-hub\logs. Simply copy and paste this line into your explorer, and you will see the main.log file. We will check if we can identify/see any anomalies.

You wrote that you have done a few things. Can you describe in detail what you have done to avoid duplicate work on your side? Thank you very much!

Cheers,
Richard

main.log (528.6 KB)

main.old.log (1.0 MB)

This is what Ifly told me to do

  1. Verify your file path directories in the exe.xml. and the directory in the plugin itself
  2. May need to re authenticate simbrief so check refresh licence in ifly mamager. Add both community and navigraph install folders as exceptions to firewall AV etc.
  3. Also in the EFB on the ACARS page ensure you have entered and saved your navigraph ID numbers not username

Also have run as an admin and reinstalled the Ifly max.

I started trying to Update it again about 20 minutes ago

It finally worked nav data is up to date thank you so much

Oh, well done, Christopher… I have looked at a bit of your logs. There were a few internet connection issues in the past year, but not in the last couple of days, as I have seen.

What I can recommend:

  1. Reboot your router
  2. Check your space on your C (system) drive
  3. Exclude your Sim folder from Windows Defender/Virus

The logs themselves don´t show any real issues, at least with the Hub, the download, and the data installation.

Crossing fingers that all is ok now
Thanks for your feedback, and enjoy the iFly and a wonderful weekend!

Cheers,
Richard
