After updating from AIRAC 2609 to AIRAC 2610, certain airways return **INVALID ENTRY** when manually entered in the PMDG 777 FMC.

This did not occur with AIRAC 2609.

### Aircraft / Software

- Aircraft: PMDG 777
- Simulator: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
- Navigation data provider: Navigraph
- Previous AIRAC: 2609
- Current AIRAC: 2610

### Steps to reproduce

On the PMDG 777 RTE page, enter:

**VIA:** `DIRECT` | **TO:** `DALOL`

Then on the next line:

**VIA:** `V631`

The FMC immediately returns **INVALID ENTRY**.

The individual waypoints are valid. For example, `DALOL` and `ENVAR` are both accepted, and `DALOL → ENVAR` can be entered as DIRECT.

The same behavior occurs with:

- `MADOG → Y753` — **INVALID ENTRY**

### Additional airway testing

To determine whether the problem affected airway entry generally, I tested additional airway segments on **separate flights** using AIRAC 2610:

- `BURGG → Q22 → RBV` — entering Q22 returns **INVALID ENTRY**
- `SSOXS → Q167` — **works**
- `RBV → Q419` — **works**

### SimBrief comparison

The complete VHHH → KLAX route:

`DALOL V631 ENVAR M750 MADOG Y753 JAKAL A1 ALBAT Y755 CARDS HIOTI CBE MORIZ TENRU Y88 DAIGO Y889 OATIS OTR3 PUTER A590 PUGAL A590 POWAL 5100N/17000E 5200N/18000W 5200N/17000W 5200N/16000W 4900N/15000W 4600N/14000W 4200N/13000W VESPA AMAKR BOARS SNS J126 RZS`

loads correctly when imported from SimBrief.

Therefore, the route and individual waypoints are available in the database, while the manual airway lookup rejects certain airway segments.

Also, I had this issue in both the 777-200LR and the -300ER.

Hi,
Wow, what a report … The best thing I have ever seen. A great example of how to write reports. Perfect, much appreciated … very impressed.

But back to the topic:
I will check it, but I have also identified an issue with a waypoint on an airway. Possibly it is the same issue. Let me check it in more detail. I will come back to you with my results.

Please give me a few hours. When needed, we will release a second revision (or course).

Thanks again
Richard

Thanks for the quick reply. Looking forward to hearing what you find. I have flown this same route out of Hong Kong many times in the 777, entering the route manually each time, and I have never had an “INVALID ENTRY” for any of these airways/waypoints.

Hi again,
We have fixed it. Please update your PMDGs and try it again. It should work now. We apologize for the problems that have arisen.

MSFS 2024, PMDG T7, AIRAC 2610 revision 2 installed:
