AIRAC 2608 missing airway waypoints

Hi,

I’m trying to fly a route from EDDS to LHBP, and noticed that multiple airways have missing its waypoints. It is a “Real world” route, selected on Simbrief, AIRAC 2608 valid:

EDDS/25 ABTA4B ABTAL L173 RIXED Y161 RIDAR Z98 MIQ L605 BIBAG Q104 AKIMA DCT ABLOM M985 XENAK L175 ANEXA ANEX2H LHBP/31R

At first I noticed that the import from Simbrief didn’t import anything after ABTAL. Then I tried to manually add the rest of the flight plan, but multiple airways don’t have any waypoints in them:

  • loading an airway from ABTAL shows the L173 airway, but it doesn’t have any waypoints
  • loading an airway from RIXED shows L173 and Y161 airways, none of those have any waypoints
  • loading an airway from RIDAR shows L173, Y161, Z79, and Z98 airways, of which only Z98 have any points

and so on.

I tried it with

  • 3rd party (FSReborn FSR300E)
  • and stock (TBM and Cessna 172) planes,
  • as well as G3000
  • and G1000 navigation systems.

I tried the

  • built in 3rd party import (FSR300e has one in the EFB),
  • and the Navigraph Simbrief import in msfs EFB,

but all of them failed to load anything after ABTAL. I tried to reinstall the 2608 rev.1 via Navigraph Hub, no changes. After removing the navdata it correctly loads from simbrief and all airways has the correct waypoints.

Yes it was like that even after I removed the 3rd party EDDS scenery.

What is strange, is that I eventually flew a route without Navigraph navdata installed yesterday evening, today I installed the Navigraph navdata and Simbrief EFB plugin again, and now it has all those points. Even with the exact same 3rd party scenery installed.

Either there were some kind of download issue yesterday with the Navigraph HUB, or it does somehow matter if I start the sim between navdata uninstall and reinstall.
