# After STAR, Approach is ignored by X-Plane ATC

The re-positioning flight plan detailed below was created for X-Plane’s A330-300. XP’s ATC functioned as expected, including commanding turns and descent until the Approach phase when it failed to recognise that I wanted to intercept the ILS. Is this a fault, my mistake or an X-Plane 12 issue?

Hi,  
Sorry, but we have no influence over the X-Pane ATC or its commands. Also, not sure if this is your fault or an X-Plane fault.

I would recommend asking this in the Laminar Research forum. We only provide the data and, possibly (as in your case), the flightplan. The logic behind how X-Plane handles this flightplan is part of X-Plane.
