To support MSFS 2024’s ability to use historic weather of the past 24 hours, it would be fantastic to see similar access to data implemented in both Charts and SimBrief (without having to access and upload a file in the case of SimBrief).
For Charts this would include 24-hour historic data in ATIS, METAR, and weather map layers.
I really don’t understand why this hasn’t been addressed yet. I see many topics, but never an answer from the business.
I pay a subscription for the charts and SimBrief. Since MSFS2024 came out, it has had 24h historical weather. SayIntentions and BeyondATC have implemented the ability to store 24 hours, yet the other tool I use most, SimBrief, can’t do that unless I have activesky.
Now, my subscription dollars are going into a FlightRadar24 injection thing that I’ll likely never use…
So, why can’t this be answered once and for all. It would be nice if the tool that most users rely on would mirror the simulator we mostly use, per your survey.
